This is an appeal against the judgment of Kaduna State High Court sitting at Kaduna. In the High Court, the respondent, as plaintiff, sued the appellants, as defendants jointly and severally by a writ of summons under undefended list for a sum of (N331,680) Three hundred and thirty one thousand, six hundred and eighty naira, being the total cost of motor spare parts and accessories supplied to the 1st defendant appellant by the respondent, since 23rd of April, 1992.

The respondent also claimed on the writ, interest at the rate of 2l% per annum on the said sum of (N331,680) Three hundred and thirty one thousand, six hundred and eighty naira from 23/4/92 until judgment and thereafter at 10% per annum on the total judgment sum from the date of judgment until the judgment sum is fully paid.

The learned trial chief judge entered judgment against the first and second defendants/appellants jointly and severally in favour of the respondent in the sum of (N331,680) Three hundred and thirty one thousand, six hundred and eight) naira with interest at the rate of 21% per annum from 23/4/92 till the date of judgment and thereafter at the rate of 10% per annum until the same is fully liquidated.

Being dissatisfied with the judgment, the appellants filed this appeal.
